Timetable
A clash-free timetable, and a day that still runs when someone is away
Generated from your bell schedule, lessons per week and staffing; edited by hand; approved by the Deputy; and kept running day to day with cover and room changes.

Generated, not guessed
- No class or teacher in two places at once, doubles in back-to-back periods, option blocks together.
- Science in a free lab, computers in the computer room: specialist rooms are a rule, not a hope.
- Subjects spread across the week, with anything that can't be placed explained in plain words.
Edited and approved
- Move, swap and lock lessons by hand; every move is checked against the same rules.
- The Director of Studies submits, the Deputy approves, and teachers see their week in the Portal.
Every day, someone is away
- Record an absence, or approve leave, and their lessons appear for cover with suggestions of who's free.
- Room changes and cancellations for a single day, without touching the approved timetable.
- Duty rosters for gate, dining and prep, on each teacher's Today.

Questions about timetable
Can we keep some lessons fixed before generating?
Yes. Lock any lesson in the editor and the generator works around it.
